The Monthly Tour

Join us for a guided walking tour of Mendocino Stone Ranch every first Sunday of the month from 12–2 PM, during the summer months only (April through October). These tours take you through over 30 one-of-a-kind, larger-than-life stone masonry art installations nestled in the redwood forest of Gualala, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

If you love art, stone masonry, and nature, you won’t want to miss this experience. Walk among towering redwoods and discover sculptures crafted by master stone masons, brought together annually for over 20 years by patron Peter J. Mullins. Your guide will share the rich oral history of the land, its founder, and the vision now carried on by his daughter.

  • Public Guided Tours (First Sunday of each month):
    Suggested donation: $10 per person
    Duration: Approx. 2 hours
Please wear good walking shoes and bring water, a hat, and sunglasses—it can get warm on the ridge.

If anyone in your group has limited mobility, we can arrange a ride on our Polaris Ranger—the “Stone Ranch Express”—to help access the installations. Please contact us ahead of time to coordinate.
