Join us for a guided walking tour of Mendocino Stone Ranch every first Sunday of the month from 12–2 PM. These tours take you through over 30 one-of-a-kind, larger-than-life stone masonry art installations nestled in the redwood forest of Gualala, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
If you love art, stone masonry, and nature, you won’t want to miss this experience. Walk among towering redwoods and discover sculptures crafted by master stone masons, brought together annually for over 20 years by patron Peter J. Mullins. Your guide will share the rich oral history of the land, its founder, and the vision now carried on by his daughter.
If anyone in your group has limited mobility, we can arrange a ride on our Polaris Ranger—the “Stone Ranch Express”—to help access the installations. Please contact us ahead of time to coordinate.
It’s raining in Gualala right now, and we love it. This is a great time to announce our new winter tour: Winter’s Watercolors, the rainlit stone tour at Mendocino Stone Ranch. Discover the magic of Mendocino Stone Ranch in its most enchanting season. When winter rains arrive, our handcrafted stonework transforms – colors deepen, patterns emerge, and the landscape shimmers with a rare vibrancy. Join us for a guided walk among over 30 one-of-a-kind masonry art installations and experience how water and stone come together to create nature’s living canvas.
If it’s actively storming on tour day, we will cancel the tour; light rain will NOT cancel. Next monthly guided tour: October 5th. Step into the quiet beauty of winter, and see the stones in a whole new light by joining one of our tours this coming winter.
